About the Role:
This role involves performing various tasks such as drywall repairs and installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance/repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs, appliance, furnishings and basic equipment maintenance & repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preventative maintenance functions to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Repair and maintain equipment following department safety practices.
- Maintain and repair facilities and equipment in accordance with department policies and procedures and manufacturers' recommendations.
- Perform electrical safety inspection on new equipment and tag appropriately.
- Follow department procedures and take appropriate precautions to maintain employee and patient safety during work activities.
- Consult with department management in advance of performing any maintenance tasks that could disrupt the provision of service to patients.
- Conduct specified inspections/servicing as required to comply with all Life Safety Code and Joint Commission requirements.
Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual who has skills and employment experience in the following areas: drywall repairs and/or installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance/repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs, appliance, furnishings and basic equipment maintenance & repairs. A high school diploma is also required.
