About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Haven Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our behavioral health services, you will play a crucial role in providing oversight and support to direct care staff.
Job Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator will provide coordination and oversight for the provision of care, serve as a resource to direct care staff, and coordinate response to incidents, errors, and sentinel events. This individual will also provide support to the DON and/or Nurse Manager with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of patient care services
- Servicing as a resource to direct care staff
- Coordination of incident response, errors, and sentinel events
- Support to DON and/or Nurse Manager with staffing, education, and other activities
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active state licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years experience as Registered Nurse, with 1 year acute psychiatric experience and 1 year management experience preferred
