Job Description: As a Registered Nurse on our Night Shift, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in a small, family-like environment. Your duties will include assessing patients for risk of danger to self or others, intervening appropriately during behavioral crisis situations, and participating in the implementation of individualized plans of care. You will also provide patient educational information, facilitate educational/activity groups, and recommend alternative activities based on patient functioning levels and treatment plans. Additionally, you will supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a background in psychiatric nursing and at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience preferred. A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program is also required.
