Psychologist – Professional Service Agreement – Stipend plus Hourly - Behavioral Healthcare
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque is a 48-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health issues. We offer innovative, customized treatment in both inpatient and outpatient programs, for individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. This a key leadership role directing patient inquiry, clinical assessment, admissions and referrals in a patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide psychological services for patients to include, but not limited to, psychiatric assessments, evaluations, testing and treatment
- Assist in the development of behavioral intervention plans as needed
- Participate in treatment team meetings for patients as needed
- Document in patient’s electronic medical record in accordance w / applicable federal / state regulations and Haven polices
- Communicate and consult with Haven treatment team as needed to ensure quality patient care and complete medical records
- Provide patient care in a supportive and empathetic manner.
Education : PhD / PsyD / EdD, or other doctoral degree that would meet Board of Psychology requirements for licensure in New Mexico.
Certification : Licensed Psychologist in NM. Certified in CPR / First Aid and CPI.
