Position Summary
- Supports the Performance Improvement & Risk Management Department in the management of performance improvement, educational development and policy oversight performance measures.
- Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team on problem identification and resolution.
- Conducts audits or utilize other data collection methods to evaluate progress on outcome or process measures.
- Participate in immediate response to safety-related issues.
- Act as a resource to front-line staff providing education as needed.
- Support regulatory survey participation and/or Plan of Correction development & implementation.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Acute inpatient psychiatric setting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in teaching, clinical program development and data base management preferred.
- Proficiency in Office & computer skills but not limited to the use of copiers, computers, and associated applications such as E-fax, Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
- Understanding of CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission Standards, and state licensing standards.
