Job Summary:
- Assess patients for risk of danger to self or others upon admission and throughout hospitalization
- Intervene appropriately in crisis situations
- Collaborate with the treatment team to implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education based on identified learning needs
- Facilitate educational/activity groups and recommend alternative activities
- Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and assume Charge Nurse duties when assigned
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience preferred
