As a Scheduling Coordinator you will coordinate daily schedules for the nursing department to ensure timely staffing based on available labor. Your work will include daily and ongoing telephone and email communication with internal and external staff. Responsibilities include ensuring medical equipment and systems are operational, tracking inventory and medical supplies and functioning as a behavioral health tech backup as needed. You will be responsible for monitoring the time and attendance of direct care staff, holiday and vacation staffing and all other staffing related tasks / projects assigned by the Director of Nursing.
You should have a high school diploma or equivalent along with 2 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Previous experience with staff scheduling and psychiatric care experience preferred. Your detail orientation, strong interpersonal communication skills and adaptability to changing situations will be key to your success.
