Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager - Psychiatric Unit. This role combines management responsibilities with the delivery of compassionate nursing care, emphasizing a collaborative approach in a small, family-like environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversight of patient care provision
- Resource to direct care staff
- Coordination of on-site response to incidents, errors, and sentinel events
- Support to DON and/or Nurse Manager with staffing, staff education, and other activities assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited RN program
- Active state licensure in good standing
- Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse with one year acute psychiatric experience and one year management experience preferred
