Interior Designer

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. You will work closely with clients to develop innovative design solutions that meet their needs and preferences. This role requires proficiency in various design software, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for interior spaces.
• Create detailed design plans, including layouts, color schemes, and material selections.
• Utilize software such as Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe, Revit, and other design tools to draft and present design concepts.
• Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather necessary measurements for accurate designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of design solutions.
• Develop budgets for projects and ensure adherence to financial constraints throughout the design process.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to source materials and furnishings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in interior design.
• Provide lighting design expertise and recommendations as part of overall project proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of color theory and lighting sales principles.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes related to interior design projects.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Experience in lighting design is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
