Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager to lead our SEO strategy and drive organic growth for our brand. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of SEO, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and content strategy, to enhance our website’s visibility and search engine rankings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO trends, data analysis, and project management to lead a team and align SEO efforts with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO Strategy Development:
o Design and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy, encompassing on-page,
off-page, and technical elements to achieve sustainable growth.
o Identify short-term and long-term SEO goals and create roadmaps to meet them in
alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
2. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
o Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists, content creators, and external
agencies to ensure high-quality SEO practices.
o Collaborate closely with marketing, content, product, and development teams to
ensure SEO strategies are integrated throughout the organization.
3. On-Page & Off-Page Optimization:
o Oversee keyword research, on-page optimizations, and link-building strategies to
enhance content ranking and domain authority.
o Manage the production of SEO-friendly content and ensure that it aligns with our
target audience and business goals.
4. Technical SEO & Site Health:
o Conduct and manage regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues
affecting site performance, including site speed, mobile usability, and crawl
errors.
o Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical implementations align
with SEO best practices.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
o Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google
Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
o Provide actionable insights to management based on performance data, ensuring
that the SEO strategy remains agile and effective.
6. Competitive Analysis & Industry Trends:
o Perform ongoing competitor analysis to identify trends, strengths, and
opportunities.
o Stay current with search engine algorithm changes and adjust strategies to remain
competitive and compliant.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
o Regularly update senior leadership and other stakeholders on SEO performance,
initiatives, and outcomes.
o Develop presentations and reports that clearly communicate SEO goals,
strategies, and results to non-SEO stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
5 years of proven experience in SEO with a track record of managing successful SEO
campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in a managerial or team lead role, with strong leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console,
SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
Proficient in technical SEO and able to collaborate with web development teams on best
practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and act on
performance data.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating SEO concepts and results to
stakeholders at all levels.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
