What You Would be Responsible for:
- Clinical Social Worker Master's level required
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding the roles of the healthcare team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong crisis intervention skills
- Excellent short-term counseling skills
Haven Qualification Standards:
- Assisting physician in providing a psychosocial assessment of the patient
- Masters level social work degree required
- Provide input into the development of a plan of treatment
- Advocate for clients or patients to resolve crises
- Refer clients to community or social service programs
- Other responsibilities will be assigned
