Job Summary
The Pre-Construction Coordinator oversees the pre-construction phase of multiple projects, ensuring planning, documentation, and coordination are completed before breaking ground. This includes permitting, budgeting, vendor management, and collaboration with our Design team for on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate and manage pre-construction activities, including project documentation, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
- Submit and track necessary permits, zoning approvals, and other regulatory requirements for each project.
- Develop and maintain detailed pre-construction schedules to meet timelines.
- Review and finalize project contracts to ensure clear understanding and agreement among parties.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and relevant paperwork.
- Assist project management by ensuring accurate and timely completion of pre-construction tasks.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the pre-construction phase.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven capacity to learn new concepts and tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Construction management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, subcontractors, municipalities, and internal teams.
