Position Overview

Havenwood Academy is seeking a gritty Team Lead to join our organization. As a Team Lead, you will supervise a group of 3-7 staff members to support adolescent girls with significant trauma backgrounds, ensuring their safety, stability, and well-being. This role is demanding and rewarding for those who are committed to making a lasting impact.

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Team Lead includes:

• Leading daily activities and supervising student interactions.
• Maintaining the schedule, boundaries, and therapeutic protocols as prescribed by the treatment team.
• Coaching staff members to ensure consistency in care and interventions.
• Responding to crises with de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies.
• Teaching guests positive coping mechanisms and reinforcing program expectations.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and incidents.
• Upholding all safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Supervising and participating in the cleaning and maintenance of your assigned home.

• Repair relationship breaks with team members and guests as needed.
• Maintain a comfortable, visually appealing, and clean environment in your assigned home.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 20.
• Ability to pass a background check & TB test.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Experience in similar environments that share the characteristics of: volatility, uncertainty, chaos, and ambiguity is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Rate: $19.00 per hour.
• Performance-Based Raises: $0.20 - $0.30 per hour every six months based on 360 performance reviews.
• On-Call Bonus: $100 per week for participation in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Benefits:
