Havenwood Heritage Heights is a dedicated and compassionate long-term care facility committed to providing the highest quality of care for our residents. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our facility remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. In this hands-on position you will work alongside and lead a team of housekeeping and Laundry staff, while working closely with other departments to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to cleaning schedules.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate housekeeping schedules to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of all areas, including resident rooms, common areas, dining areas, and bathrooms.
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members, providing ongoing support and development.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of all equipment and systems.
- Respond to and address any cleaning-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the overall comfort and safety of residents.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping and laundry supervision, ideally in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in infection control or related fields (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
