What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Health & Physical Education Long Term Substitute Teacher position at Haverford High School?
Long term substitute teacher position beginning at the start of the 2025-26 school year through the end of the 2025-26 school year. The candidate will provide help to developing students' physical skills and abilities; supervise students within the classroom and other assigned areas; develop lesson plans and deliver group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress.
Must be able to interact and reach all students in the 9th through 12th grades.
Must have the ability to work with all students and staff members collaboratively.
Must have the ability to teach all Health and PE courses.
Must love all PE/Health related duties.
Candidate must have required PA certification in Health and Physical Education.
