Job Summary - Jeweler – Fine Jewelry Manufacturing
HAVERHILL is a family-owned, rapidly growing fine jewelry brand specializing in high-quality, personalized pieces. We are seeking a skilled Jeweler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience working with fine jewelry, tools, and equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and finishing jewelry pieces with precision and attention to detail to meet our exceptional quality standards.

Core Responsibilities:
- Produce Haverhill’s luxury fine jewelry products within timing goals and quality standards - including, but not limited to, rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and pendants in 14K yellow and white gold, lab created diamonds and precious and semi-precious gemstones.
- Complete resizing, repair, or alteration work as requested by customers
- Continually build expertise to stay up to date on industry techniques and innovations in fine jewelry production & build a collaborative team atmosphere by sharing knowledge & techniques with team members as well as seeking guidance from others when challenges arise
- Commit to building a culture of safety at Haverhill by closely adhering to safety standards, actively participating in safety training offered, and proactively reporting any safety concerns to management
Examples of Daily Work:
- Set various sizes and shapes of stones for production, stock, or customer repairs
- Solder, laser, and assemble jewelry items
- Repair, alter, or resize jewelry as needed/requested by customers
- Perform cast cleaning duties to prepare raw castings for stone setting
- Support the polishing department in the event of excess work or absence
- Support the chain assembly department in the event of excess work or absence
- Work within assigned deadlines/due dates and team goals and perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned
Tools and Equipment Used:
torch, laser welder, polishing machine, hand tools, rolling mill, electroplating machine, laser engraver, rubber wheel, and flex shaft

Qualifications
- 18 years of age, HS degree or equivalent
- A proven ability to be reliable and consistent in the workplace
- Excellent finger dexterity and fine motor skills
- Good close vision and depth perception
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in oral, written, or diagram form
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise level
- Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures and perform work in a safe manner
- Must show initiative, drive, and flexibility
- For experienced jewelers - certifications such as a GIA Applied Jewelry Professional or similar are strongly preferred but not required
- metallurgy or casting experience is a bonus
Compensation & Schedule
Jewelers typically work Monday - Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
During our busy seasons (February, April/ May, November/December) the pace of work increases significantly; team members need to be committed to the success of our Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, and Christmas sales events. Regular overtime and weekend work is expected to meet the demands of the season leading up to these holidays.

We immediately seek an entry-level jeweler (Bench Jeweler Level 1) with a budget of $20 - $22/hr.
However, we are always interested in meeting experienced jewelers and will consider applicants of all skill levels. Our full pay band from Apprentice Jeweler to Level 3 Jeweler ranges from $19 - $32 per hour.
