Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with food and beverage vendors to ensure exceptional service.
- Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of event staff across various roles, including operations, guest services, and logistics.
- Adapt and implement changes to the facility layout as the league evolves.
- Coordinate with local hotels to arrange accommodations for staff, participants, and traveling guests.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless events.
- Coordinate on-site logistics, resolve challenges in real-time, and maintain a high-energy, fan-focused atmosphere.
- Assess and address facility needs, including maintenance and equipment setup, to ensure operational excellence.
- Foster local relationships with neighboring businesses and local government.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Leadership and communication abilities to inspire and manage diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful approach.
- Interest in robotics, sports, or entertainment is a plus.
