We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer who will participate on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning.
About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Field Test Engineer to enable rapid product development for our customers. This role offers a unique blend of on-site testing, customer interaction, and travel opportunities. As a Field Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and assist with the testing and validation of systems, while also gaining invaluable experience in real-world applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career engineer looking to build a career in testing and systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct testing of hardware and software systems to validate performance, functionality, and quality standards
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation for various systems and products
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in both hardware and software environments
- Provide technical support during on-site testing and customer demonstrations
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure test results are documented and analyzed for continuous improvement
- Engage in hands-on testing and work on marine and water-based systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to field conditions
- Maintain safety and quality standards during testing, both in the lab and on-site with customers
