Coordinates and conducts complex research and analyses in a variety of subject matter areas related to or affecting the business affairs and operations of the Judiciary; serves as a liaison between the court programs, administration, and others outside the Judiciary; plans, coordinates, and participates in the research, analysis and development of recommended actions/proposals for administrative decision; and performs other related duties as required.
Education Requirement: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree. Progressively responsible experience in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which has provided a general background of the type and quality described below may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Experience of a routine clerical nature is not qualifying.
Specialized Experience: Two and one-half (2-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional work experience which demonstrated knowledge of research methods and techniques, written analyses, evaluation and recommendations for the resolution of problems.
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:
1) Satisfactory completion of all academic requirements for a Master’s degree in business or public administration, research-focused graduate program/department or a closely related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for all of the experience required for the Research Analyst IV level.
2) Satisfactory completion of all academic requirements for a Ph.D. degree in business or public administration, research-focused graduate program/department or a closely related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for all of the experience required for the Research Analyst V level.
