PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Information Systems Help Desk Specialist will provide primary level I (low complexity) support to end users regarding hardware, software or other applications, printers, and basic networking issues. Primary responsibilities will include monitoring and answering the help desk phone line, administering the help desk system, logging, and troubleshooting incidents, escalating problems, performing follow-up for status and resolution, and providing desk-top technical support. Serves as first point of contact for all Information Systems and Technology incidents and requests. Ensures customer satisfaction through best efforts to reach resolution on the first-call, seamless transfer to the appropriate support team and continued communication throughout life of the work request.
