The Truck Loader will be responsible for loading perishable food products onto trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured and organized for delivery.
Nightly start time at 9:00PM, weekends and holidays required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform duties such as loading pallets and loose loads perishable goods into trucks with a forklift and pallet jacks
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and balanced with the truck to prevent damage or accidents during transport
- Verify accuracy and completeness of cargo
- Organize and load cargo according to driver routes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including truck loading area
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure all tasks completed efficiently and effectively
- Occasional box truck driver duties
WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and exposure to cold temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Forklift certification a plus
- Driver’s License a plus
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
