Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with 10% hematology and 90% oncology patients
- Prescribe medications, infusions, order laboratory tests/imaging and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about their cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care resources
- Participate in the monthly Tumor Board meetings.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
Education Requirements:
- MD or DO
- BC/BE in specialty
Salary : $700,000
