The Utility Worker is a valuable member of our team. This position performs heavy lifting and other strenuous tasks as a major assignment; performs a variety of work activities in more than one of the following: janitorial, grounds keeping and simple building maintenance repair work; laundry and dietary tasks and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications : To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek.
Education : None required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience : None required. Must demonstrate the knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment, basic grounds maintenance practices and uses of common hand tools.
Licensure: Current valid Hawaii State driver’s license, Type 3. EVIDENCE OF LICENSE AND ORIGINAL COPY OF TRAFFIC ABSTRACT is required with the application.
