What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Improvement Administrator position at Hawaii National Bank?
This position is responsible for the continuous improvement of Branch Administration policies and procedures; for the purpose of aligning all processes with the strategic objectives of the bank. This includes overall efficiency gains, the leveraging of technology and adherence with industry best practices, and the transition to a digital business operational model. This position will have the authority to identify process improvement initiatives that further these bank wide goals, and act on the necessary reforms needed to advance them. While the emphasis of these improvements will be Branch processes, all divisional areas may be included (Cash Operations, Branch Operations, Payments and Digital Banking) for maximum institutional benefit. This includes an ownership stake in all internal and external forms, and all facets of customer and staff approvals. Additionally, the Process Improvement Administrator may assist with customer service duties when called upon.
College degree in business or Finance preferred, but equivalent work experience in banking will be considered. At least 3 years of banking experience and/or at least 3 years of customer experience in related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to deal effectively and harmoniously with other departments and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including bank staff, management, customers, vendors, and community. Ability to secure, coordinate, manage, and supervise internal and external resources to achieve strategic objectives. Analytical, organizational, and planning skills required. Strong PC skills: working knowledge of all common Office applications (i.e. Word & Excel), internet applications, Project Management tracking system, Data Querying (SQL preferred), etc. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines. Must be a strong team player and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks.
