Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about products and recomment the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities
Some of your duties may include:

• Customer service: Greet customers, make them feel comfortable, and answer questions.
• Product knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of products and services, and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
• Sales: Introduce promotions and new products, and contribute to the team's sales goals.
• Cash register: Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Inventory: Keep track of inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Merchandise: Organize merchandise on the sales floor.
• Returns: Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds, and check for accuracy at the cash register.
• Sales trends: Stay up to date with sales trends to improve service and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year in retail or equivalent experience.
