What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attendance Clerk position at Hawaii Technology Academy?
Hawai‘i Technology Academy Public Charter School, a top-ranking public charter school, seeks candidates for the position of Attendance Clerk, based on our Waipahu Learning Center, for the SY 2024-2025 and/or SY 2025-2026.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Checking students in/out at the Waipahu Learning Center on a daily basis
- Communicates with parents, students, staff, in person, by telephone or via email for the purpose of providing information on a variety of attendance inquiries (statewide)
- Ensures accuracy of students’ (statewide) daily attendance records, including verification of absence, truancies for the purpose of complying with school policies
- Checking visitors in/out at the Waipahu Learning Center and managing visitor log
- Assisting students and staff with basic clerical duties as needed at the Waipahu Learning Center
- Other clerical duties as assigned
The Attendance Clerk will work Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm on the school year schedule with all school holidays, official school vacations and summer off. Candidates should have experience working in a school and/or in the customer service industry. The ideal candidate will need to be on time, reliable and able to work as a dependable team member.

Position available ASAP. Compensation: Hourly Wage $18.19/hour depending upon experience.
