The residential Solar Scheduler (Solar Scheduling Coordinator) is essential to the smooth operation of our installation process –ensuring that homeowners, team members, and processes are managed efficiently. This individual will be responsible for client (homeowner) scheduling, managing communication with vendors and potential clients, processing appointment dates and data, as well as ensuring adherence to our Solar Operations processes and procedures.
Core Responsibilities of Hawaii Unified’s Residential Solar Scheduler:
- Speak with customers over the phone to schedule, remind, and follow up on appointments.
- Build and manage daily work schedules for crew members and service technicians.
- Interact with project team members to define scope of work prior to scheduling.
- Record appointments, maintain and log tasks and its statuses in database.
- Schedule and follow up on the inspection status with electricians, sub-contractors, and City & County inspectors.
- Manage a high-volume workload, effectively prioritizing tasks to remain organized.
- Conduct clerical duties including filing, answering phones, responding to emails and preparing documents.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries about solar services.
- Have a desire to help continuously improve processes and procedures.
A Scheduler/Scheduling Coordinator should have the following entry Qualifications:
- Work experience as a Project Coordinator, Scheduler, or similar role.
- Customer Service oriented with a professional and positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful in completing tasks, and able to multi-task effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think under pressure.
- Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding time management skills and analytical skills.
- Solar experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
