What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping full-time (Ward) position at Hawaiian Building Maintenance?
Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Big Island.
We have a full-time Housekeeping position located in Honolulu at a retail center. This role requires good communication skills, customer service aptitude, previous Housekeeping, Janitorial and/or related experience is helpful and willing to train. Applicants must perform basic manual labor and should be willing to lift/push/pull a minimum of 30lbs, be able to routinely bend, squat and stretch throughout their shifts, be able to work in a fast pace where you will be walking and a pushing cart. All positions offer benefits including vacation, holidays, 401k.
Duties include:
- clean, wipe/scrub down common areas
- trash disposal
Schedule:
- Sunday: 6am-2pm
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 2pm-10:30pm
- Sat 6am-2 pm
- 40 hours a week (Days off: Thursday and Friday)
Compensation:
- $18.25/per hour (40 hours a week)
