What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Floater full-time (Oahu) JC position at Hawaiian Building Maintenance?
Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Big Island. We are currently hiring for a full-time Janitorial Floater position for various financial facilities on Oahu, HI. This role requires good communication skills, customer service aptitude, previous janitorial or related experience is helpful and willing to train. Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, trash removal and should be willing to lift/push/pull a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to routinely bend, squat and stretch throughout their shifts.
Duties:
- clean common areas - restrooms, in and outside facility (sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, scrub/sanitize areas and wipe down areas)
- use a ladder to climb up on higher surfaces
- use of a power wash machine
- use of a buffer wash machine
- use of a blower motor machine
Special Requirements:
- must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
- must be able to pass background screening
- must have a good credit score
Schedule:
- must have open availability (7 days a week)
- Monday to Saturday 2pm-10pm
- 40 hours a week
Compensation:
- $16/per hour
