What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial full-time (Ewa Beach & Kapolei) cf position at Hawaiian Building Maintenance?
Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Big Island. We are currently hiring for a full-time Custodian position for two locations Ewa Beach and Kapolei on Oahu. This roles require good communication skills, customer service aptitude, previous janitorial or related experience is helpful and willing to train. Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, trash removal and should be willing to lift/push/pull a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to routinely bend, squat and stretch throughout their shifts.
Duties:
- painting common areas
- use of a power wash machine
- clean common areas (sweep, dust and wipe down areas)
- trash removal/disposal
- use a ladder to climb up on higher surfaces
Schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00am-3:30pm and Monday 6:00am-1:30pm (37 hours a week)
Compensation:
- $17/per hour
