Maintenance Floater (Full-Time, Kauai)

Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Big Island. We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Floater position to repair and maintain facilities on Kauai. Candidates must have a valid driver license, previous hands-on maintenance/janitorial experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting experience is required. We are a major facility service company with excellent benefits including company vehicle with gas card, company cell phone, medical plan, 401k plan, holiday and vacation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance)
• Clean common areas
• Use of pressure washer
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
• Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs and be able to walk and stand for a period of time, routinely bend, squat and stretch throughout their shifts. 
• Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
• Create and maintain work orders
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.

Schedule: Must have open availability 

Compensation: $25/per hour
