We are looking for a Project Scheduler for our joint venture Dry Dock project located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam located on Oahu, Hawaii.
The Project Scheduler will create, implement, maintain, and oversee project schedules. The person in this position will collaborate with project managers, designers, superintendents in setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and create various CPM compliant schedules including but not limited to schedule related responses for RFP / RFQ, project baseline schedules, resource loaded schedules and project change-driven schedules in a collaborative environment with project managers and various other teams.
- Develop process and integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, baseline, status, and perform measurement baseline. Developing visibility for resources constraints, workload requirements and opportunities for execution improvements. This process will need to incorporate forecast and target projects to ensure prospective project can be executed in a timely fashion to meet the customer needs.
- Be able to contribute to developing planning and scheduling processes for the global operations especially for project execution which will require to work closely with various project teams.
- Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports : Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, short term lookahead reports, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances, and to support cost / schedule integration.
- Periodic progress updates of in-progress schedules. Collection of all pertinent data required to update the schedule. The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for collection of update data from multiple sources.
- Assist in preparation of Monthly / Weekly Schedule Reporting. Preparation of the required reports for the project and shall include assisting with the draft of the Monthly / Weekly Schedule Narrative.
- Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems.
- Facilitate and participate in weekly and monthly schedule reviews.
- May require attending on-site visits to review construction / manufacturing progress.
- Perform both delay analysis and critical path analysis.
