Building & Grounds Maintenance

HawaiiUSA FCU is seeking a Building & Grounds Maintenance professional to be a part of our facilities team. Our Administration department is committed to ensuring that the grounds and facilities at HawaiiUSA FCU are well maintained. This role is primarily based at our Pearl City location but could visit our College Walk location and particularly our Waipahu, Mililani, Ewa Beach, and Kapolei branches. This position will serve the branch locations with maintenance services where needed. Responsibilities include indoor and outdoor cleaning, indoor and outdoor maintenance, plumbing, landscaping, painting, drain inspection and cleanings, trash bin emptying, bathroom cleaning and resupply, and assisting and performing repairs. The role involves managing supplies, meeting vendors, and supporting the Facilities Manager with various tasks.   EDUCATION High school graduate or GED required EXPERIENCE One year experience in the maintenance field required LICENSE & VEHICLE Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Access to a personal vehicle needed, required mileage driven from Pearl City location to elsewhere is reimbursed.   MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Manual Labor: Ability to perform various manual labor tasks, including but not limited to standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting. Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 4 hours at a time. Climbing: Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights as needed. Repetitive Tasks: Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and minor landscaping. Physical Stamina: Must have the physical stamina to perform tasks in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Hand and Power Tools: Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.   BENEFITS AND PAY The expected pay range for Building & Grounds Maintenance is $17.75 - $23.50 per hour.   We cover 100% of employees' monthly health insurance premiums for medical, drug, vision, and dental insurance.
