Property Service Technician

Position Overview:

Hawk, Inc., a leader in custom home building and property services in McCall, Idaho, is seeking a skilled and reliable Property Service Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving residential properties, ensuring they are in excellent condition and meet client expectations. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, technical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and walkthrough inspections of residential properties.
• Conduct property checks to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Assist with seasonal property maintenance, such as snow removal, landscaping, and weatherproofing.
• Respond promptly to client service requests and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
• Manage small renovation and repair projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors or specialized trades when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and costs.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting wage: $34 per hour.
• Typical wage increases of $2–$4 per hour annually, based on performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical functions, carpentry, and general repair skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity or training in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Familiarity with McCall's local climate and building standards.
• Experience working with custom homes or high-end properties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
