The Director of Construction Operations (DCO) is a senior-level position at HAWK Construction. By serving as the main point of contact between various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, the Director of Construction ensures that communication is maintained, and project goals are aligned. Directly responsible for supervision of Project Engineering Manager, General Superintendent, and Equipment Maintenance Facility Manager. With their help, the DCO handles all aspects of project planning, budgeting, and makes key decisions to ensure that construction projects are in conformity with the projected budgets and project deadlines. The DCO may also be involved with the hiring process for subcontractors, suppliers and / or other workers on the job site. Duties and responsibilities revolve around ensuring developments and implementation of eicient operations and cost-eiective systems to meet current and future growth and company inancial objectives. Also ensures compliance with legal requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations, fostering a smooth and eicient construction process.
