Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team at Hawk Disposal Services, a leading provider of portable restroom rentals. This role is responsible for driving new business, maintaining client relationships, and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with outdoor sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for providing superior service in the portable restroom rental industry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within construction, events, industrial and municipal sectors.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and site visits.
- Schedule and attend client meetings to assess their needs and recommend appropriate products and services (restrooms, fencing, dumpsters)
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements to close sales.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Account Management
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow up regularly to evaluate customer needs and suggest additional services.
Territory Management
- Plan and manage daily routes efficiently to maximize customer contact.
- Conduct regular site visits to check in on existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities.
- Stay informed of construction projects, events, and other business developments in assigned territory.
Product & Service Knowledge
- Maintain deep knowledge of all products lines, including different types of portable restrooms, fencing configurations, and dumpsters.
- Educate clients on features, benefits, and proper usage of each product.
Quality Assurance
- Perform on-site inspections of portable restroom units to ensure cleanliness, placement, and proper servicing.
- Report issues related to maintenance, cleanliness, damage, or customer complaints.
- Coordinate with operations and service teams to resolve quality issues quickly.
Collaboration with Operations
- Work closely with dispatch, delivery drivers, and service technicians to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery, setups, service, and pickups.
- Communicate customer timeliness and special requests to internal teams accurately.
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account updates in CRM Template.
- Prepare and submit regular activity and performance reports to sales management.
