We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our condominium association team. The successful candidate must have the ability to multitask in a busy office and outdoor environment, and possess excellent communication, administrative, and computer skills. The ability to handle visitors, renters, and callers with ease and professionalism is a must.
A 5-Star Customer Service attitude is crucial to ensure that both guests and property owners have a positive experience. You will be directly involved with condominium operations, including overseeing short-term rentals, check-ins, and assisting with general property management tasks. The ideal candidate should display maturity, good judgment, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing daily operations. You will play a key role in providing excellent service to both residents and visitors.
The Assistant Property Manager will report directly to the Property Manager and work closely with the Board members, homeowners, and campground staff to ensure smooth business operations and guest satisfaction.
KEY SKILLS:
- Communication & Customer Service: Communicate with Board members, homeowners, guests, and vendors. Provide top-notch customer service to guests and residents, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Short-Term Rental Management: Manage check-ins and check-outs for short-term rentals, coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams, and resolve any guest concerns.
- Work Order Management: Create and follow up on work orders for maintenance and repairs, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with property management software (e.g., AppFolio) is a MAJOR Plus! Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Financial Management: Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable, including assisting with rent collections and vendor payments.
- Rental Operations: Assist in managing rental operations, including booking reservations, ensuring compliance with rental policies, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and pay attention to detail.
- Team Player: Collaborate with a variety of internal team members and external vendors to ensure that both the campground and condominium properties are well-maintained and running smoothly.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior property management experience or a newly licensed LCAM who is looking to expand their skills and grow within a dynamic, growing condominium association.
