Job Description:

The DPH ITi s seeking a contract Oracle Apex Developer to work on the Emerging Infections Program (EIP) SendSS module.

The EIP module has evolved over the past 8 years to become a robust tool for managing workflows and capturing data for specific conditions. With SendSS undergoing modernization, the decision has been made to reengineer the EIP suite of modules in the new Oracle Apex framework rather than making changes to the legacy SendSS.

This rewrite and enhancement effort is estimated to take approximately 2 years. The developer will collaborate with the original legacy EIP module developer (SME). The project is funded through an EIP grant secured earlier this year.

EIP Modules to be Rewritten in Oracle Apex Framework:

• EIP ABC's Report Form - Active bacterial core surveillance case report
• Tracks invasive diseases for five pathogens:
• Group A Streptococcus (GAS)
• Group B Streptococcus (GBS)
• Haemophilus influenzae
• Neisseria meningitidis
• Streptococcus pneumoniae
• Includes supplemental forms for specific pathogens.
• ABCs - NIE, NNS & iEC Report Forms
• Collects data on:
• Neonatal Infection Expanded Tracking
• Neonatal Sepsis Surveillance
• Neonatal Invasive E. coli Infection Expanded Tracking
• iSA Report Form
• Invasive Staphylococcus Aureus Infection Surveillance Program for tracking trends and incidence.
• Viral Module Reporting Form
• Includes three submodules:
• FLUSurv Module - Influenza-associated hospitalizations.
• RSVSurv Module - RSV-associated hospitalizations.
• COVID Module - Hospitalizations related to COVID-19.
• CDI Module
• Tracks and monitors cases of Clostridioides difficile infection.
