Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Build and optimize the company’s financial operations, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, providing data-driven insights to drive company growth.
- Develop and implement financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes, forecasting models, and budgeting frameworks.
- Establish internal controls and compliance measures to ensure financial integrity.
- Oversee all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, revenue recognition, andmonthly close processes.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, maintaining a clean and organized general ledger.
- Implement best practices in treasury management, optimizing AR, AP, and cash flowstrategies.
- Lead ERP migration, integrating new financial systems for scalability and efficiency.
- Manage multi-entity accounting structures, acquisitions, and M&A integrations.
- Develop and enhance BI, data visualization, and advanced financial reporting to provide real-time insights to leadership.
- Present financial data and strategic recommendations to executives, ensuring financial transparency and informed decision-making.
- Work closely with operations teams to bridge the gap between financial reporting and business performance analytics.
- Design and implement AI-assisted and technology-driven financial automation for closing processes and internal controls.
- Streamline vendor payments, reconciliation, and multi-payment workflows across various entities.
- Build a scalable finance function, hiring and leading a high-performance finance team.
- Lead with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach—comfortable being both strategic and in the weeds when needed.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and complex business environment, handling multiple financial structures and revenue streams.
- Serve as a problem solver, identifying challenges and implementing solutions proactively without heavy oversight.
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance & accounting, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred with a strong background in both controllership and FP&A.
- Experience in ERP migrations and financial system overhauls.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, financial automation tools, and BI reporting platforms.
- Expertise in managing multiple entities, M&A integrations, and treasury operations.
- Proven ability to develop financial automation, AI-assisted reporting, and internal controls.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a high-velocity, complex financial environment with varied client payment structures and contract models.
- Based in Los Angeles (Santa Monica Office) – 5 days per week in-office.
- Fast-paced, high-growth environment—requires adaptability and a results-driven mindset.
