Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Forester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tree care, shoreline boxing, marking out property boundaries, and pest control.
Duties
- Conduct assessments of forest health and tree care practices to ensure sustainable management.
- Shoreline Boxing & Marking out property boundaries.
- Ordering & maintaining pesticide chemical storage.
- Perform research on ecological restoration techniques and environmental laws impacting forestry.
- Collect and analyze research data to inform management decisions and strategies.
- Develop management plans that align with best practices for forest sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience in tree care and ecological restoration is highly desirable.
- GPS technology for data collection and analysis.
- Strong research skills with the ability to interpret environmental laws relevant to forestry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks related to forestry management.
- A passion for environmental conservation and sustainable land use practices.
