As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of pest control techniques and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each property
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to apply pesticides and other pest control treatments
- Educate customers on pest prevention methods and provide recommendations for long-term pest control
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including treatment plans, materials used, and customer interactions
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe handling and application of pesticides
Experience:
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of common pests and their behaviors
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in pest control
- Experience in landscaping, lawn care, or farm machinery is a plus
- Strong drive for customer satisfaction and sales
