Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area according to hotel standards
- Greet guests warmly and assist with any inquiries or special requests
- Monitor food and beverage supplies, replenishing items as needed
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, pastries, and hot/cold food items
- Ensure cleanliness of tables, chairs, counters, and serving areas
- Clear tables and clean dishes promptly to maintain an organized dining area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and provide information to guests
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or food service setting is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
