Job Overview:
Hawkeye is looking for Logistics Analysts to support NAVAIR and NAVSEA Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. The positions are full-time, in-person at our office in Lexington Park, MD.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
The Logistics Analyst will assist with analyzing, coordinating, providing recommendations for, and implementing logistics requirements for integrated product support (IPS) elements. This includes:
- Assessing country capabilities, facilities, infrastructure, and equipment and recommending transport options and approaches best suited for each unique requirement.
- Reviewing program procurement documents, shipping and packaging instructions, export licenses, Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD) entries.
- Processing, planning, and executing Special Airlift Assignment Missions (SAAM).
- Evaluating site support readiness on a continuing basis to determine problem areas and recommend solutions.
- Monitoring outside agencies and governing organizations for transportation policy, regulation, and procedural changes.
- Other duties as required to support the program effort.
- Occasional travel, if required by the program office.
Security Clearance Requirement
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
Hiring preference will be given to candidates with active Secret clearances.
Required Education & Experience
Junior Logistics Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience may be used to offset the degree requirement.
- Less than three years of experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, or program management.
Journeyman Logistics Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience may be used to offset the degree requirement.
- 3 years in a field related to FMS, logistics, or program management.
