Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various framing techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the building and remodeling of structures, ensuring that all framing work is completed to the highest standards. Your expertise in blueprint reading and knowledge of materials will be essential in executing projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble frameworks for buildings using wood or metal materials.
• Erect metal buildings and install roofing systems as required.
• Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Execute frame carpentry tasks, including building walls, floors, and roofs according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements accurately.
• Assist in concrete finishing tasks as needed for foundation work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
• Utilize welding techniques when necessary for structural integrity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in framing or related construction roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with metal building erection processes is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques is advantageous.
• Proficiency in frame carpentry, remodeling, and concrete finishing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
