Collision Center Manager
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department
- Manage workflow through the office, body, parts, and paint departments.
- Create and Manage budgets including cost control for the department
- Provide outstanding customer service experience by providing fair estimates, clear communication and building loyal clientele
- Create cohesive relationships and work with insurance adjusters and appraisers
- Approve all adjustments on body and paint estimates
- Approve all requisitions for materials and supplies.
- Handle customer complaints and adjustment matters.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, monitor, and schedule employees within the department
- Responsible for employee scheduling & customer appointment scheduling
- Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
- Oversee materials inventory & ordering
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop, with preference given to those in a Manager level role
- PA Damage Appraisal License
- Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and manage teams
- Ability to multi-task and respond to a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be willing to submit to a background & drug screen prior to employment
