Salary : $85,000
Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP is seeking a Level II desktop support technician with a minimum of 4 years experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of technologies. This individual will be part of a 5-member support team and will report to the IT Director. The salary for this position is $85,000 / year.
Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot daily issues with our Windows desktop, which includes MS Office, IManage DMS, and common law firm desktop applications.
Support of physical and virtual Windows desktops in a Citrix XenDesktop environment (VDI).
Set up, support and maintenance of Windows desktops and laptops, server, and network hardware.
Administration of Active Directory, including user / group assignments, permissions, and access rights.
Administration of Microsoft Exchange, including the management of user mailboxes and troubleshooting mal flow through ActiveSync, TrendMicro IMSS, and Mimecast.
Troubleshoot basic network (LAN and WAN) communication and internet access issues.
Experience supporting desktop Cisco VoIP phones.
Konica and HP printer support.
Setup and support of iPhones.
Involvement in system development projects including testing new hardware / software packages.
Willingness to work OT when needed for emergencies, systems updates, and testing.
Occasional travel to our remote offices in NJ, DC, CA and OR.
Requirements :
Applicants must have 4 years paid experience supporting a Microsoft Windows network as a Level II technician. Law firm experience is a plus.
Experience troubleshooting malware / virus issues using industry-standard tools.
Must be able to quickly analyze and resolve software and hardware issues, and to independently act on critical items and prioritize tasks.
Candidates must be able to work with 150 users of varied technical ability and have strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work independently as well as with a group.
IT support-related certifications are a plus.
Patience, maturity, professionalism, and the ability to communicate, share, and perform as a team member are absolute musts.
