Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cellar Worker to join small family winery. The ideal candidate will work directly with the wine maker on cellar projects as well as facility operations and logistics.
Duties
- All aspects of wine production from receiving grapes to bottling
- Maintain winery equipment and facility
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products safely within the facility
- Cleaning and maintaining facility and surrounding areas
- Packing and shipping wine orders
- Stocking case inventory to and from various locations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
- Supporting all departments with various projects
Experience
- Wine production experience proffered
- Must have a clean driving record
- Forklift certification or experience is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of wine quality and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
