Job Overview
Management duties are focused on team leadership and the overall operations of our downtown Healdsburg tasting room. In addition to managing hospitality staff, this position will oversee wine club and DTC sales and fulfillment.
Wine Club Duties
- Process club shipments and fulfillment
- Club member communication
- Plan and execute wine club events
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with inventory management to ensure product availability aligns with consumer demand
- Monitor KPI's to ensure goals are met
Tasting Room Management Duties
- Hire, train and schedule all hospitality staff for tasting room and estate tours
- Uphold customer service standards
- Implement marketing programs to drive traffic
- Work alongside hospitality staff
- Maintain inventory and operations
DTC Sales
- Update POS system and products
- Receive orders and process for fulfillment
- Manage inventory and wine releases
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in the wine industry
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on enhancing consumer experiences
- Club management experience preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Proficient in using POS systems for tracking sales and customer interactions
- Wine knowledge
