We are currently looking for a Paint Line Loader on 1st shift to join our team in Ludington, MI. Schedule is from 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday. OT is from 5:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday and potential Saturdays from 5:30am-2:00pm.
As a Paint Line Loader, you will:
Sequence and hang or unload parts for paint runs according to production dispatch. Verifies and updates production system accordingly. Flexes throughout department as needed. Required Qualifications
8th grade education or higher
Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands
The ability to work in Ludington, MI without relocation assistance
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship Major Responsibilities
Verifies the proper part per paint sequence based on launch dispatch monitors.
Distinguishes parts by size and color, selects proper rack, selects hang pattern, hangs parts and unloads rack information into system to launch paint process.
Removes product from line, inspects parts; reports identified quality problems to team lead. Organizes parts in correct racks/carts for assembly.
Maintains product inventory.
Returns hanging paint racks to appropriate storage area for reuse.
