We are seeking a Box Truck Delivery Driver and Driver Helper to join our team for a Costco contract. If you are a recent high school graduate looking for an exciting job that offers variety each day, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. This job involves heavy lifting, so consider it your free gym membership. Sometimes, you will lift refrigerators weighing up to 200 lbs with a partner.
The successful candidate will assist in delivering goods to customers' homes promptly and efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to lift and transport heavy items, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be open to flexible work hours. Experience in furniture assembly and appliance installation is highly preferred.
YOU MUST PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload items from delivery vehicles.
- Assist in the delivery of goods to customers.
- Ensure that all items are properly packaged and labeled.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy items.
- Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner.
